With around 4500 visitors, Assembly is one of the biggest events around. Once a year, usually at the beginning of August, demosceners and gamers come to the Hartwall-Areena in Helsinki/Finland and experience the great productions, demos etc.

Breakpoint takes place in Bingen/Germany during easter, this year for the second time. In 2003, it was organized in extremely short time to find a replacement for the successful 'Mekka/Symposium' party that used to take place during the same time. And it turned out to be a huge success! With over 700 visitors, great competition contributions and unique atmosphere, it convinced everybody there. It is furthermore the biggest demoscene event there is.

Evoke, with around 300 visitors the second biggest demoparty in Germany, usually takes place in or around Cologne around 2 weeks after Assembly in August and sees itself as familial event where everybody knows everybody. Nevertheless, Evoke welcomes every new visitor. Far away from anonymous mass events, the visitors meet to present each other impressing masterpieces. Evoke is a true family event, and newbies and new family members are easily and kindly integrated.

Buenzli (meaning 'fuddy-duddy' in Swiss) happens in Winterthur/Switzerland, usually at the end of August. With around 200 visitors and a very stylish and warm atmosphere, Buenzli is as cool as Evoke and is the only demoscene event in Switzerland. And visitors interested in Evoke and Buenzli, watch out! The organizers of both parties usually offer a 'Combined' ticket that allows visitors to visit Evoke and Buenzli for a reduced price. You won't want to miss that!

tUM ('the Ultimate Meeting') takes place in or around Mannheim/Germany during the time between Christmas and newyear's eve. Apart from the classic ones, tUM offers a lot of fun and surprise competitions for everybody to join in and have fun. Gamers aren't allowed here.

The Gathering takes place at the Vikingskipet Olympic Arena in Hamar/Norway in the middle of April this year, and with around 5200 visitors, it is the biggest event there is in this sector. A big part of the visitors are gamers though, so even with all the visitors, The Gathering doesn't contain as much scene as Breakpoint does.
